The music of iconic Belgian singer Jacques Brel is coming to Ledbury.
Alive and Brel, which features singers Tim Brown, Alison Allan and Steve Allan, comes to the Market Theatre on Saturday April 2, starting at 7.30pm.
Known as the master of the modern chanson, Brel is famous for the emotional power and ironic wit of his music.
Stars including Frank Sinatra, David Bowie, Marc Almond and Dusty Springfield have recorded versions of Brel’s songs.

Alive and Brel features popular hits such as Ne Me Quitte Pas (If You Go Away), Jackie and Amsterdam as well as other iconic songs that paint a vivid portrait of imperfect humanity with all of its passions and flaws.
The cabaret revue is a celebration of Brel’s role as the inspiration for so many great vocalists and as a cornerstone of French culture.
