A former Britain’s Got Talent semi finalist is headlining a comedy night near Ledbury next month.

Noel James, who was a contestant on the show in 2018, will be bringing his unique brand of comedy to the Royal Oak at Much Marcle on Saturday March 12.

The comedian has been busy since his appearance on season 12 of the ITV show. He has been booked for TV and radio work, appeared in two cruise ship shows and has found time to set up his own comedy club in Ystradynglais, near Swansea.

Tickets to the Royal Oak’s comedy night are £15 and include a meal of chilli con carne or a vegetarian alternative. Organisers hope it can become a regular thing if the demand is there.

Support acts

Also on the bill are support acts Liam Tuffy, Sarah Lloyd and Nia Llloyd Williams, Dave Flynn, Mike Carter and Perry Martin.

Other upcoming events at the Royal Oak include a Spanish night on Friday April 8, when tapas, sangria and Spanish entertainment will be the order of the day.

There’s also going to be a silent disco taking place on Saturday March 19 and a family quiz on Friday May 6.

Last month, another former Britain's Got Talent star appeared at a Ledbury pub.

Singer Pippa Langhorne, who appeared on the talent show alongside her dog Buddy, performed at the Oak Inn at Staplow.
