You’re never too young or too old, to pick up a tennis racket for the first time. That’s the message which Ledbury’s friendly local tennis club is keen to convey.

Hot on the heels of this Saturday’s Judy Murray inspired “She Rally”, a free of charge event for girls aged 5 to 12, the Gloucester Road club will soon be welcoming adult beginners (or returners!) of any age or ability.

This short introductory course runs on three consecutive Saturdays commencing on 30th April. Participants don’t need their own racket, but can bring one along if they wish. They will need their own trainers or tennis shoes though, to enjoy the state-of-the-art artificial grass courts and protect their surface.

There is a modest charge for the course which is run by LTA accredited coach Jane Poynder. Full details are available online at clubspark.lta.org.uk/ledburytennisclub/Coaching or you can telephone Jane if you have any questions on 07831 553130

Ledbury Tennis Club is run by its members, for its members and for more than fifty years it has enjoyed an idyllic countryside setting on the edge of town beneath Coneygree Woods. There’s a modern clubhouse with a kitchen, changing rooms, and toilets.

Game, set and match then at LTC!
