A Victorian melodrama that uses the music of Gilbert and Sullivan is coming to Ledbury.
The Wreckers of Red Rock promises fighting, love, a villain, daft accents, plenty of confusion and silliness, and beautiful music.
And it’ll be a family affair for some of the cast, including three generations of one family who will be taking to the stage.
The show is being put on by Worcester Gilbert and Sullivan Society at Ledbury’s Market Theatre on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21.
The cast includes Emily and Libby Butler, who will be performing with their mum Bev Butler and grandmother Pauline Peak.
Phoebe Ward Smith will be performing in her first Worcester Gilbert and Sullivan Society show and is joining dad Steve and mum Sharon in the cast.

The show itself tells the story of the villain Maximillian Blackheart, who sends a beautiful girl out onto the cliffs at night to draw ships into the rocks.
The ‘spoils’ are then collected by the village girls all unbeknownst to the dozy revenuemen.
