Anyone thinking of hosting a street party in Ledbury to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee only has until Friday to apply for a grant from the town council.
Grants of £100 are being offered to those planning parties between Thursday, June 2 and Sunday, June 5.
The parties must be taking place within the parish of Ledbury and should be aiming to invite a minimum of 30 households.
You may also want to hold your party at a time when it won’t clash with one of the big events being run by the town council.
These are the Jubilee Picnic in the Park, which takes place on Friday, June 3 between 2pm and 7pm, and the Community Day on Saturday, June 4 from 10am to 2pm.
Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, May 20, in person to the town council offices or by email cdo@ledburytowncouncil.gov.uk
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, May 27.
