WORCESTERSHIRE pop stars performed powerhouse sets at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2022.

Harry Styles, originally of Redditch, and Becky Hill, originally of Bewdley, were part of a star-studded lineup at the festival over this weekend.

The former One Direction man came onto the stage with loud cheers and chants, wearing an eye-catching purple outfit.

He performed a variety of hits from his latest album, Harry's House, and his Fine Line album, such as Watermelon Sugar, Adore You and As It Was.

He also surprised fans with a rendition of the One Direction classic What Makes You Beautiful. 

Styles was the headline act for Sunday, with artists such as Lorde, Mabel and Jaz Joes also performing on the day.

Becky Hill, originally of Bewdley, also performed a 30-minute set on Sunday.

The set featured some of her most popular songs, such as My Heart Goes, Wish You Well and Remember.

Becky Hill has been making dance music for the last 8 years and has 21,244,014 listeners a month on Spotify.

She first rose to fame by appearing on BBC's The Voice, where she featured in the first series in 2012.

She was a part of Jessie J's team, reaching the semi-final before she was eliminated.

Radio 1's Big Weekend was held from Friday, May 27 to Sunday, May 29, at the War Memorial Park in Coventry.
