ROADS across Herefordshire will be closed during June for resurfacing and other works.
These are all of the road closures planned across the county during June:
Drainage works
Improvements or repairs to the local drainage system. May involve excavation of the carriageway.
C1004 Birtley
Road closed from June 6 to (and including) June 7, 9am to 5pm daily.
Drainage investigation including cleaning, jetting and CCTV survey.
Ailey Lane, Kinnersley
Road closed from June 27 to (and including) July 5, 24 hours a day. No weekend working.
Lay new drainage pipework across carriageway, install new headwalls, jet and clean drainage system.
Bridge works
C1039 - Kingsland Mill Bridge
Road closed from May 23 to (and including) June 10, 24 hours a day.
Parapet wall repair and coping stone removal/repair.
Miscellaneous road closures, emergency closures, and other projects
U66004 Rams Corner, Little Cowarne
Emergency road closure as steep supporting bank to above stream has collapsed, undermining carriageway.
Pig and Whistle Road, Lingen Deerfold
Emergency closure due to carriageway condition.
U65018 Sandy Cross to Hope Farm Road, Bromyard
Emergency closure due to carriageway deterioration.
U74208 Lower Newton, Lower Mascoed
Emergency closure due to carriageway deterioration.
Woonton Lane From A4112 To Whyle Mill, Leysters
Emergency road closure due to sinkhole.
Orchard Lane, Sutton St Nicholas
Emergency road closure following building fire.
