BIG Sing UK Summer Project is back at The Market Theatre in Ledbury
Last weekend Big Sing UK held their workshop auditions at The Market Theatre for the show The Wiz, which is based on the Wizard of Oz story and will be staged by young performers at the theatre at the end of the second week in August.
Every year Big Sing UK hold what they call their Summer Project where the performers are put through their paces by the West End experienced team for a two week workshop/rehearsal period and then, with a live band, perform the show to the public at the end of the second week.
Previous years’ shows include The Addams Family, Starlight Express and Wind in the Willows.
Due to covid it was not possible to run the Summer Project in 2020 or 2021, so the participants that are already signed up for this year cannot wait to get started.
There is still room for a very few more to enrol for the two weeks of workshops and performances that will run for the two week period from 1 August, and anyone who is interested should contact bigsinguk@imtproductions.co.uk
