Here are the latest updates for drivers looking to get out and about in Herefordshire today and throughout the weekend.

  • The A44 Mill Street in Leominster will be shut overnight at the level crossing from 11pm on Sunday July 3, to 5am on Monday July 4 for Network Rail to carry out work. Diversion in place via Hereford Road, Southern Avenue and the A49 Leominster by-pass.
  • Delays likely on the A466 Monmouth Road at Wormelow due to emergency works by Welsh Water. Two-way traffic signals in place until July 5.
  • The C1125 in Shelwick will be closed from Monday for three days to complete broadband works. Closure in place from the A4103 junction to the river Lugg.
  • The C1112 and the C1110 in the middle of the village of Stoke Prior, near Leominster will be closed today between 11.15am and 12.15pm for the dedication of a new war memorial.
  • A temporary speed limit on the A438 through Eastnor this weekend from Thursday 30 June to Monday July 4 for the El Dorado festival at Eastnor Castle Deer Park. Expect slow traffic and delays in the area for the duration of the festival.
  • Advanced warning of a road closure on the A449 from Chance’s Pitch to the Worcestershire county boundary near West Malvern, Surface preparation works will be taking place on July 4 and July 5 between 9.30 am and 3.30 pm each day, Resident access only. Diversion in place through Great Malvern, Bransford and Leigh Sinton.
  • Road closure still in place on Mortimer Street in Leominster. Delays expected until July 13.
  • Overnight lane closures on the M50 between junction 4 at Ross-on-Wye and Junction 3 at Newent until July 5.
  • Roadworks on the A417 between Humber Brook and Richland Farm in Bodenham. Two-way signals in place.
  • Delays possible due to two way traffic signals on New Road in Bromyard. In place until July 15.
  • Multi-way traffic signals in place on Walford Road, near Ross-on-Wye expected until midnight on July 6.
  • Advanced notice of road closures in Hereford city centre on Tuesday July 5. Closures in force on West Street, Broad Street, King Street, Bridge Street, St Martin's Street, Wye Street and Castle Street. In place from 2pm until 4pm due to the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay.
  • Fernbank Road in Ross-on-Wye closed until Saturday July 2, for tree cutting and overhead fibre works.
  • Ailey Lane in Kinnersley is expected to be closed until at least July 6. Diversion in place via the A4112.
