JACK in the Box Nursery in Bosbury is having its 25th anniversary this year.

The nursery was opened by Jackie Barratt years ago in her house when she struggled to find a nursery for her son, James.

It gradually expanded getting more and more popular and moved to Bishops Frome village hall. An opportunity then arose for the nursery to open in a beautiful purpose built log cabin on the grounds of Bosbury Primary School and Jack in the Box now has three settings.

They are in Bosbury, including Crib Cottage for our under 2s and Leadon Lodge for 2-4 year olds.

Parents, staff and children alike are so proud to be part of the Jack in the Box with one parent expressing: "I feel like I am sending my child into one big extended family unit".

Jackie is finally semi-retiring this year, leaving the day to day running in the very capable hands of manager Georgia who continues to enable Jack in the Box to thrive.

Jackie's husband Leigh, and three children, James, Kalata and Rosie are all extremely proud of Jackie and the wonderful, curious place she has created for children to learn and play.

Happy 25th birthday Jack in the Box.
