RELISH Running were delighted to see 850 runners take part in the annual Mud Bath event at Eastnor Castle on the weekend, with runners taking part in 1.5km, 3km, 6km and 10km races.

The route was around the Land Rover experience tracks and through the estate swamp which was the stickiest it has ever been, leading many people to have to crawl their way through the swamp.

The event welcomed a lot of our regular groups back again who use the event as a fund raiser and as an excuse to get teams out of the office and having fun together in the mud; we had groups from Megan Baker House, Malvern College and Speller Metcalfe taking part again this year as well as lots new runners joining our event for the first time.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who worked on the event; our generous hosts at Eastnor Castle for letting us revel in their fantastic estate, the Malvern Joggers marshal team and all our other course marshals for looking after the runners around the course, the Herefordshire 4x4 Response Team and Point2Point Medical for keeping everyone safe, and to the local Raynet team for providing communications around the course.

We are looking to return in the spring next year, keep an eye out for an April or May date, with registrations opening on our website www.RelishRunningRaces.com soon or follow us on social media @RelishRunning
