EMERGENCY services have helped six people, including children, from a crash on a Herefordshire main road.

Police were called to the scene of a crash on the A4103 at Yarkhill, at the top of hill towards Shucknall, between Hereford and Worcester.

Crews from Hereford fire station were called at 12.21pm today (December 16), a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.


The crash was between four small vehicles, all of which were on all four wheels, they said.

Fire crews found six adult casualties and four casualties under the age of 18.

All were handed over to the care of the ambulance service. Police were also at the scene.

All vehicles were made safe and removed from the carriageway with the incident marked as pending closure at 1.52pm, said the spokesperson.

Traffic was passable but was directed at the scene. The road is now clear.
