A "DELIGHTFUL" pub in a Herefordshire village is up for sale.

The Wheelwrights Arms in Pencombe is on the market with commercial agents Sidney Phillips for £350,000.

Described by Herefordshire Campaign for Real Ale as "everything a thriving village pub should be", the pub dates back to the 17th century.

Ledbury Reporter:

The Wheelwrights Arms currently has a 4.5 star rating on reviews website Tripadvisor, with with 20 out of its 26 reviewers rating it as excellent and four as very good.

Reviewers praised the surroundings, warm welcome, real ales and ciders, and food on offer.

The pub features an open-plan bar, with stunning exposed beams, exposed stone and brick walls, and a fireplace with woodburner.

Agents Sidney Phillips said the pub comes complete with two-bedroom owners' accommodation, while outside are trade gardens and car parking.

The quaint free house pub is set in the village of Pencombe itself, about halfway between the A417 at Bodenham and the A44 at Bromyard.
