AN ACCUSED Herefordshire man has denied engaging in sexual communication with a child.

Klodian Jonuzaj entered a guilty plea to one count of possessing a controlled class B drug and a not guilty plea to one count of engaging in sexual communication with a child when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in February.

The court heard from prosecutor Eleanor Peart that the 36-year-old had been caught in possession of a quantity of class B controlled drug cannabis in Hereford on January 5.

He is accused of, for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, intentionally communicating with a child under the age of 16, sending images and videos of adult genitalia, between January 13 and 27.

Jonuzaj, who is of no fixed address, was remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in Worcester next on March 1.
