AN ICONIC steam train will pass through Herefordshire today (August 31).

The Welsh Marches Express 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley will be on its way to Shrewsbury, using an immaculately restored engine.

It will be the same train that wowed train enthusiasts last month, when it travelled through the county on July 27.

It will be stationed in Hereford for 50 minutes from 11.13am before continuing its journey.

However, if you miss it in the morning, you will have another chance to see it later in the day when it will be at the station for 35 minutes from 4.56pm.
