FAMILY and friends of a Hereford man who died aged just 25 are raising money to help fund his funeral.

Cal Aston was brought up in Birmingham, but lived in Hereford. Speaking on behalf of his family, Claire Gullis said he was 'a lovable rogue, with a big heart towards his whole family and close friends.

"Everybody who knew Cal knew he lived to make memories, and he took some beautiful ones with him," she said.

"He hit many storms through his memories but he finally found his peace. He was the most funny, kind and cheeky soul who left footprints on everyone he left behind.

"Cal will be missed by everyone who knew him and we want to give him the send off that he deserves."

A JustGiving page has been set up by Cerise Tyler to help the family.

It reads: "Such sad news about Cal, passed away so soon at just 25 years young.

"An amazing uncle to my neice Skye - their bond was out of this world.

"I wanted to help as im sure so many other family/friends would too, so I have set up this page to help towards the funeral or donation to the ICU, and will pass along anything raised to the family so that they can use it where needed.

"Such a shock to anybody close to him, there isn't any words to describe how difficult this time is for the family and I'm sure they would appreciate any help so please donate."
