Ledbury businesses are being thanked for helping the town to celebrate Christmas.

A number of companies gave generously to help fund Ledbury’s Christmas lights switch-on event and presents for children from families who are struggling with the cost of living.

Ledbury Town Council said it wanted “extend its sincerest thanks to all of the Ledbury companies who gave so generously”.

“This is the second year where we have asked local businesses to support the children’s gifts and this year we have also asked for support to help make the Children’s Craft event at the Lights Switch-on event free to all children, and once again we have been blown away by the generosity of local companies,” a Ledbury Town Council spokesperson said.

“This year’s sponsors have donated a total of £1,250 and include ABE Ledbury, Eastnor Castle, Grant & Co., Jaga Climate Designers, Past & Present, Redkite Solicitors, Sequani and The Uncommon Touch.

“All of the money which has been donated will go toward gifts and activities for the Children of Ledbury.

“This money will most definitely help brighten the lives of many children in Ledbury this Christmas.”
