A HEREFORDSHIRE bus operator is hosting a bus naming competition inviting students from local schools to suggest names for a new bus.

"I would love for the schools in Bromyard to have a competition to name a new bus, and I'll get it written on the bus," said Louis Dyson of DRM Bus.

Schools in Bromyard that would like to take part in the bus-naming competition can email drm@drmbus.com or call 01885 483219.

The winner of the competition will receive special recognition as their chosen name will be written on the bus.

The new bus will most likely be used for the 476 route which goes from Ledbury to Hereford via Bartestree.

DRM Bus has transported residents of Herefordshire for the last 40 years and was originally established by David Morris.
