The forecaster is not predicting snow for Hereford.

The Met Office says today will feel cold with plenty of sunshine once morning fog clears, and a fine afternoon with sunny spells.

Conditions will be very cold overnight, dropping below zero with a widespread sharp frost, icy stretches possible, mist, and freezing fog possible too.

Thursday will be a cold and frosty start but largely fine and dry, the Met Office said.

When does the Met Office forecast snow?

Snow could arrive in Herefordshire from Friday to Sunday, the Met Office said.

The forecaster is predicting conditions will be largely dry, with some early morning mist and fog and overnight frosts.

Some flurries of snow are possible, mainly over hills.

Wintry showers are likely across northern areas in the new week, the Met Office said, with the potential for rain and hill snow in the south early in the week.
