A THIEF has been banned from every Tesco in Hereford after repeatedly stealing from shops in the city.
Peter Evans entered guilty pleas to four counts of theft from a shop when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in November.
The court heard from prosecutor Lisa Morris-Jones that the 36-year-old had stolen four cans of cider from Hereford's Commercial Road Texaco petrol station and three bottles of vodka worth £100 from Tesco in Bewell Street on October 12.

He had also stolen meat products worth £15 from Hereford's Holme Lacy Road Tesco Express and meat products worth £30 from Marks and Spencer on October 17.
Evans, of Pomona Place, Hereford, was handed an 18-month community order and ordered to pay compensation of £7.98 to Texaco, £147.75 to Tesco, £50 to Marks and Spencer.
He was also banned from entering Marks and Spencer in Hereford and all of Hereford's Tesco shops for 18 months.
He must pay a £114 victim surcharge, but no prosecution costs were ordered to be paid.
