RESIDENTS at Deer Park Care Home in Ledbury celebrated National Drink Wine Day with a few tipples and some expert knowledge from Hay Wines.
National Drink Wine Day aims to promote the benefits of drinking wine and of course the opportunity to find out more about fermented grape juice.
Deer Park Care Home, Ledbury held a wine-tasting session hosted by Jane Salt from Hay Wines.
A spokesman for Deer Park said: "From the cork dorks amongst us to the experienced wine connoisseurs, a wine-derful time was had by all."
Wine does have its benefits after all.
Moderate drinkers of wine have lower risks of liver disease, type II diabetes, certain kinds of cancers, heart attack, and stroke.
It also can reduce the bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase the good (HDL).
