POLICE have given an update on the three men who were arrested on suspicion of murdering Sean Day, a Hereford man whose body was found in the river Wye.

The murder suspects remain on police bail, a police spokesperson confirmed.

29-year-old Sean Day was reported missing last July, with police receiving a call that a man had fallen into the river near the Victoria Bridge just after midnight on July 29.

His body was found in the river and identified in August.

Mr Day's family released a tribute to him after his death, with his mother saying on behalf of the family: "Sean was loved by so many people, such a loving father, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.

"He touched so many people's hearts. Sean had the biggest heart and it's such a cruel world for him to be taken so young.

"Thank you for the support at this very sad time."
