DEER Park Care Home in Ledbury is holding a community collection for the town's food bank.

They are appealing for any members of the community to donate tinned and dried goods as well as home essentials such as cleaning products and Easter eggs.

A spokesperson for Deerpark said: "Following on from the huge success of our Community Harvest Festival and Christmas Collections and in aid of Ledbury Food Bank last year, we are running an Easter Community Collection March 1 - 29.

"Throughout the month, a ‘Donation Station’ will be located within our reception area – if any businesses/members of our local community can help us support this vital charity and consider donating any of the following we would be most grateful."

Deer Park would particularly like tinned and bottled goods, dry goods, home essentials, including cleaning products and toiletries, Easter eggs and chocolate treats

"Whilst here anyone who donates would be very welcome to also join us for complimentary tea/coffee and our chef’s freshly made cakes and bakes," said a spokesperson.
