A note in the window at Greek Gourmet in Bewell Street says it is shut "for technical reasons", adding that it will be reopening tomorrow (March 14).

The shop offers a wide range of Greek sit-in meals and takeaways.

This includes gyros, moussaka, stifado and other healthy and traditional Greek options.

Its pork and chicken gyros are served in a box with green salad, tomatoes, onion, French fries, pitta bread and tzatziki sauce, or there is an option to have them wrapped in pitta bread.

Other meals available are Greek kebabs (minced mixed beef and lamb), a hot chicken roll, authentic Greek salad, and halloumi and feta cheese.

Chips are also sold at the shop, as well as desserts, syrup sweets and cakes.

As well as serving customers from its city centre shop, Greek Gourmet also provide meals for a range of occasions, including weddings, parties and events.
