This weekend in Ledbury, foraging courses and St Patrick's Day celebrations promise a blend of learning and fun for residents and tourists.

Foraging Courses At Eastnor Castle

On Saturday, March 16, between 12pm and 3.30pm, enthusiasts and newbies can explore the delights of foraging at Eastnor Castle Deer Park.

Set in a parkland with diverse flora and fauna, these courses provide instructions on identifying a variety of plants, fruits and mushrooms throughout the year.

Highlights of the course include a two and a half hour walk around the deer park and castle grounds, seasonal homemade refreshments, and a wild food lunch crafted with found ingredients.

People are advised to book their places in advance. A list of everything that was taught will also be emailed over after the course.

Celebrate St Patrick's Day in style with The Helix Gold Band at The Talbot Hotel on Sunday, March 17.

The event, which starts from 5.30pm and runs until 8pm, will feature an evening of music, socialising, and some singalong tunes to wind down the weekend.
