Herefordshire transport pioneer to be celebrated in memorial lecture

A lecture in memory of a former transport leader for the county will be held next month.

Clare Stone, founder member of Buses4Us, is to deliver the inaugural Gareth Calan Davies Memorial Lecture.

Mr Davies was a former chairman of Rail and Bus for Herefordshire.

Ms Stone has played an important role in establishing the 232 Ledbury – Newent – Ross service, known as The Daffodil Line.

Rail and Bus for Herefordshire extends an open invitation to join her for the lecture at Burgage Hall, Church Lane, Ledbury on Tuesday, April 9 at 3.30pm.

Attendees are welcome free of charge.
