A FAMILY-OWNED Herefordshire business has won a prestigious award.

Wye Valley Brewery picked up the Commercial Achievement Award at this year's Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) Business Awards, held at the BeerX event in Liverpool. 

The accolade recognises the brewery's commercial success in the last 10 years through its commitment to product quality and innovation, customer service, and support of pubs, as well as its efforts to be environmentally conscious.


 Vernon Amor, managing director of Wye Valley Brewery, said: "This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team.

"We are deeply committed to producing high-quality beers, supporting our local community, and minimising our environmental impact.

Since the brewery’s first beginnings, when it was based in the old stable block at the back of the Barrels pub in Hereford, its focus has been to brew the best quality cask ale, and quality remains the cornerstone of its success.

After moving to moving to its nice--acre site in Stoke Lacy, Wye Valley Brewing has focused meticulously on its brewing methods, combined with quality control processes have ensured consistent product excellence.
