LEDBURY Poetry has teamed up with Red Earth Arts (Sara-Jane Arbury and Jeanette McCulloch) to run a fun and free art and creative writing workshop called Broad Brushstrokes on a Blank Page for LADS (Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society).
The workshop is suitable for all - newcomers, beginners, and the curious! It will give participants the opportunity to enjoy interesting and inspiring creative activities and have an informal conversation about Ledbury Poetry Festival. All thoughts, ideas and opinions are welcome! The feedback is confidential and will be collected for Ledbury Poetry's consultation project.
Broad Brushstrokes will feature creative writing and art exercises. Participants will use words they write to make individual posters, using paint sticks, broad felt tips, stencils and chalks. All materials are provided.
It will take place at the Market Theatre on Sunday, April 14, from 10am to 1pm.
