A Ledbury-based agency has won the right to organise the most prestigious police summit of the year.

Event Management Agency ‘Event Works Europe’ will deliver the two-day APCC & NPCC Partnership Summit 2024.

The event is set to unite over 400 key figures such as senior leaders, politicians, experts, and decision-makers to discuss and create solutions for pressing issues in law enforcement.

Earning the right to host the summit indicates the growing reputation of the company in the venue-finding and event management sector, having already expanded its reach to audiences across the UK, Europe, and North America.

Jayne Foster, founder and managing director of the company, expressed her joy over the news.

She said: "Our success in this latest competitive tender process is testament to our vast experience and the high standard of the events we deliver for our clients.

"The team is looking forward to getting started with the planning and delivery of another successful summit."

She added: "This is an event which attracts high-profile members of the Government and we have proven we have the expertise and discretion to work alongside the security services to handle all the extra precautions and provisions which need to be put in place at a summit like this."

Founded in 2008, the company specialises in venue finding and event management.

The agency, run by Ms Foster and Sharon Brunt, employs two other regular employees along with various freelancers.

Ms Foster added: "The team goes the extra mile to deliver outstanding events every time, which is reflected in the fact that clients are coming back to us year after year.

"We are continually receiving enquiries from new clients who are being referred to us through recommendations - they know we always deliver exactly what we say we will."

The news marks another significant accomplishment for the company, having diversified its services during the pandemic to offer virtual and hybrid event support.

Other highlights include a 350-person gala dinner in London hosted by TV presenter Stephen Mulhern, and a technology company customer roadshow of events across eight European cities, including Copenhagen, Madrid, Paris and Munich.
