A ROAD traffic collision closed a main road in northern Powys earlier today – but authorities say it has now reopened.
The A458 between Llanfair Caereinion and Mallwyd was shut sometime before 3pm following an accident, reported Traffic Wales.
“Road Traffic Collision. A458 closed between Mallwyd and Llanfair Caereinion in order to safely recover the vehicles,” tweeted Traffic Wales.
“Please avoid the area for the time being.”
The Welsh Government’s traffic service reported at 6.37pm that the road was now back open.
