AN ABUSIVE man has been up before the magistrates after using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in a Herefordshire town.
Martin Glover admitted one count of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on August 14.
The court hears from prosecutor Camila Toscano that the 63-year-old had behaved in a “disorderly” way within the hearing or sight of another person, and was likely to cause them harassment, alarm or distress in Ledbury on January 20.
This is an offence under section five of the Public Order Act 1986.
Details of the specific nature of the words or behaviour have not been given in court documents.
