SIXTH form students will take on a 14-kilometre run to raise money for charity.

The John Masefield High School students will run from Malvern to their school in Ledbury on Wednesday (May 7) to raise money for The Survivors Trust, which provides voluntary support for survivors of rape and sexual abuse.

The event, organised by head students and sports captains, will take place between 1pm and 3.30pm.

This is the second Ledder Run, following last year's fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society.

The same route will be followed, which goes from Malvern, across hills, through fields and tracks, and finally along the pavements of Ledbury.

Alongside the run, there will also be a six kilometre walk from Colwall.

A JustGiving page (https://www.justgiving.com/page/the-john-masefield-high-school-and-sixth-form-centre-1?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL&utm_campaign=016) has been set up for donations, and the students are hoping to raise as much money as possible for the trust.
