MORE than 320 pupils from 18 schools took part in Ledbury RFC's annual tag rugby festival.
The event, sponsored by Weston's Visitor's Centre, took place in sunny weather and featured 32 teams playing in morning and afternoon sessions.
The festival was supported by more than 40 volunteers and produced some "quality rugby" and "plenty of smiling pupils".
Most participants had just completed their SATs the day before.
Eastnor and Ashperton schools emerged as the cup winners.
Ewyas Harold Primary School was recognised with the newly introduced 'Rugby Values' Award, donated by Malvern College.
Other victors included Lea and Riverside as plate winners, Stretton Sugwas and Bridstow as bowl winners, and Redmarley and Much Birch as trophy winners.
