A YOUNG mum of two says she cannot sleep as her home is ridden with cracks which she says are being ignored.

Jade Morris who has two children says she has been fobbed off by the local property social owner as cracks have grown progressively worse.

The 31 year old said: " The cracks are getting bigger and bigger.. .and no one seems to be taking them seriously. But they mean I can't sleep, I just want to leave, but who will take on this property like this."

Jade's two children are also scared at their home in Bromyard and are crying too.

" I am quite depressed with this situation so sometimes I cry at night to myself."

The cracks are all around the property and spreading says Jade (Image: Jade Morris)

She first reported the problems at her home in Kirkham Gardens 12 weeks ago with cracks appearing in the hallway, across the doors way, in the bedroom and in the main room. They have become progressively bigger and she can now put a knife into some of them through to the next room.

Platform Housing which run the property at told us they were indeed sorry about the delays.

Marion Duffy, Chief Operations Officer at Platform Housing Group said: “We would like to apologise for the delays our customer has experienced; we are looking into this and will be contacting Miss Morris directly.”

But for now Jayde is not convinced that the housing problem will be resolved. "How long do I have to wait, " she said.

Platform Housing is one of the UK's largest housing association. It promises to : provide quality, affordable homes across the Midlands."
