LEDBURY travelled to Ross for their first away league fixture of the season. In muddy conditions, Ledbury started well with Charlie Samwells opening the scoring in the 10th minute, with captain Charlie White adding a second 15 minutes later. Dion Jenkins scored Ledbury’s third, to make the score 3-0 at half-time.
The second-half started with Ross trying to get on the score sheet, and a confident performance by goalkeeper Ben Read ensured the ball kept out of his net. Charlie Samwells and Charlie White added a goal each, to make the score 5-0, though a lapse in concentration by the away side enabled Ross to get a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the match, with the final score ending 5-1 in favour of Ledbury. Player-of-the-match went to McCoy Shergill for his tireless efforts during the match.
