LEDBURY faced Bromyard Town for the first time ever in this league match on a sunny autumn day.

Both teams started well, attacking their respective goals, with Ledbury coming closest to scoring.

However, a Bromyard goal in the 10th minute from a well-taken free-kick gave goalkeeper Ben Read no chance, as it went in just under the crossbar.

Ledbury pushed for an equaliser, with Lewis Potter, Charlie Samwells and Charlie White attacking well.

Despite this, Bromyard looked to increase their lead, with a second goal coming in the 25th minute, making the score 2-0 to Bromyard at half-time.

Ledbury started the second-half positively, looking to get back into the game, but despite all their efforts Bromyard added a third goal, making the final score 3-0 to Bromyard.

This was Ledbury’s first league defeat of the season, and Bromyard’s first league win.

Player-of-the-match was captain Charlie White for his continued persistence against a resiliant Bromyard defence.
