LEDBURY Swifts Rovers’ fine start to the season suffered a major setback, with a 8-0 defeat at home to Pegasus Juniors.
At the start of the game, Pegasus were unbeaten, and both sides sat at the top of the table.
But it was Pegasus who started brightly and were three goals up in as many minutes, leaving Ledbury shell-shocked.
The visitors continued to put significant pressure on the hosts and struck again midway through the first-half from a well-worked goal.
Pegasus again started the second-half brightly, and two quick goals ensured a deserved lead.
Ledbury pushed hard to get back in the match, but failed to find a breakthrough against a stubborn defence, and the away side scored two further goals to cap an impressive victory.
