LEDBURY Swifts Rovers travelled to Ross and produced an excellent display to beat Ross Juniors.

In the opening period Ledbury were dominant, putting Ross under sustained pressure from the start, and it was no surprise when Ledbury opened the scoring midway through the first- half with a fine left-foot strike by Kieran Slatter.

The visitors struck again to double the lead with another sweeping move, and a neat Kieran Loveridge finish.

Excellent tenacious defending by Daniel Gale and Oliver Williams, with the ever resolute Joseph Bullock, ensured Ross were continually under pressure, and Ledbury went into the break with a two-goal cushion.

After the break Ledbury continued to impose themselves on the game, but it took a fine save from Liam Bowers to maintain their two-goal advantage.

The midfield of Ledbury continued to dominate and after significant pressure a deserved third arrived with a superb half-volley from Mathew Hammond finding the net from a well-worked corner, ensuring a deserved victory for the away side.
