LEDBURY Swifts entertained Hereford Girls Colts on Sunday with an outstanding overall 13-goal thriller of a game and Swifts having six players due to key player and much missed Emily Paske out through illness.

Hereford created chances and took the lead. This was followed up by Katy Nash equalising for Swifts.

The visitors increased their lead further to make it 3–1 before half-time. The second half Hereford scored in quick succession to make it five.

This was the wakeup call Swifts needed as two further goals from Katy Nash and one from Bethany Allcock increased scoreline to 5–4.

Hereford scored against run of play then and after five minutes both Nash and Allcock teamed up to bring score level at six-all. With five minutes remaining, Hereford struck the winner. The scoreline could have been higher in Hereford’s favour if it had not been for Swifts stand in goalkeeper Lucy Boswell making crucial saves throughout the match.
