SWIFTS opened the game with positive play and inside 10 minutes Emily Paske broke the deadlock to make it 1 –0. Swifts had early chances with both Katy Nash and Bethany Allock being denied by the Hinton goalkeeper making good saves.

Hinton had chances but it was the combination up front of Nash and Allock which increased the lead to 2–0 with Allcock scoring.

Swifts’ midfield of Bethani Williams, Megan Rowland and Alice Fleck all performed well, keeping Swifts in control of the game.

The second-half Hinton came out the better of the two teams and created chances early with Swifts keeper Lucy Boswell having to make important saves. The score-line could have been higher in Swifts favour with Paske hitting the post and a strike being saved, also Nash’s shot going wide.
