LEDBURY travelled to Bromyard on a very cold winters day for their latest league fixture. From the start there was little to choose between the two teams, although Swifts had more of the possession, with Lewis Potter in particular coming close to scoring on more than one occasion. However, 20 minutes into the half a sudden break by Bromyard saw them find the back of the net, going 1-0 up at half-time. The second-half started with Ledbury trying to get back on even terms. Captain Charlie White, and Liam Cale came close to opening the scoring for Ledbury, with some fine attacking play. Ledbury’s goalkeeper Ben Read made some very fine saves at the other end to prevent Bromyard going further ahead.

The visitors’ persistence saw Charlie White open their scoring 10 minutes into the second-half. Ledbury then seemed to step up a gear. Both teams pushed forward, and unfortunately for Swifts a well-taken free-kick by Bromyard saw the ball find the back of the net.

Bromyard then went on to score a third goal five minutes later to see the final score ending 3-1 in their favour.

Ledbury’s player-of-the-match went to goalkeeper Ben Read.
