LEDBURY Swifts Rovers entertained local rivals Bromyard, and turned in a fine display with an impressive 8-0 victory.
In the opening period the hosts were dominant with Bromyard put under sustained pressure from the start, and it was no surprise when Ledbury opened the scoring with a neat finish from Daniel Gale from a well-worked Kieran Slatter corner.
Kieran Loveridge then produced a superb spell of finishing, scoring three goals in as many minutes to effectively end the tie prior to half-time.
After the break, Ledbury were again quick into their stride and continued to impose themselves on the game and the fifth came from an unfortunate own goal. The sixth arrived midway through the second-half through a fine left foot strike by Sam Branch. The hosts were driving forward at every opportunity only to find the Bromyard goalkeeper in inspired form, but after a succession of further chances, Kieran Loveridge poked home for his fourth of the match.
Sam Lane added the eighth to complete the hosts scoring and seal an excellent derby victory.
