LEDBURY entertained second-placed Lads Club Tigers on a bitterly cold Sunday morning.
It was very much end to end for the first 10 minutes but it was Tigers that broke the deadlock.
This was quickly followed up by four further goals in succession. Swifts knew it was going to be a tough game with no sub available.
However, a consolation goal by Emily Paske shortly before half-time gave them a boost. Tigers followed this up by scoring to make it 6–1.
Swifts came out for the second period and battled away. The second-half was a totally different game and Swifts bravely pressed forward to create chances but were denied.
