LEDBURY Swifts were looking to progress to the final of the Tony Cole Cup but had to overcome a strong Leominster side.
Chances were at a minimum with the Ledbury defence of Max Coleman, Lewis Hammond and Thomas Trigg defending superbly.
With only six minutes remaining of the half and the game looking to be all-square at half-time, Ledbury were awarded a corner which was taken by Harvey Moss and his well-taken corner found Tom Webb who headed home to make it 1-0 to Ledbury.
Two minutes later another Moss corner picked out Webb who celebrated his brace with his second headed goal of the game.
The two goals gave Ledbury a valuable half-time lead.
Leominster had three good second- half chances but goalkeeper Rory Atkins was in top form and pulled off three great saves.
The game was finally finished off when a speculative Webb shot hit the crossbar but Jake Robson was quick to react as he side-footed the ball home to make it 3-0 to Ledbury.
Ledbury can now look forward to the cup final against Westfields played at Edgar Street, home of Hereford United.
This Sunday Ledbury entertain Credenhill (ko 2pm).
