LEDBURY travelled to Leominster to play Minors Colts, a team one place above and three points ahead of them in the table. Ledbury had the ideal start when ,with their first attack of the game, McCoy Shergill scored after two minutes. He added his second eight minutes later. Wanderers were playing with confidence, showing some accurate passing. Forwards Charlie White, Neil King and Shergill continued to have the majority of possession in the Colts half, with defenders Ben Cox and Dan Reilly rarely troubled. This possession paid off with Charlie White getting the visitors’ third goal on 26 minutes, making the score 3-0 at half-time.

The second-half started with Shergill getting his hat-trick five minutes after the re-start and Liam Cale adding Ledbury’s fifth goal two minutes later. Leominster did not give up and came close on a couple of occasions, but it was to be Ledbury’s day with Cale adding his second and Ledbury’s sixth goal after 46 minutes. Ledbury were unlucky not to add to this total with Cale coming close more than once. The final score saw Ledbury move above Leominster in the table.
