ROSS travelled the short distance to play Ledbury Swifts in a local derby match at Ross Road.
The first-half produced only one goal, when mid-way through the half Joe James played a through-ball to Tom Webb who in turn played an inch perfect Cross which was met by Craig Pierce who calmly side-footed home.
Although Ledbury only led by one goal at half-time, Swifts had the better of the chances but found the Ross keeper in great form.
In the second-half the Ledbury defence of Tom Trigg, Callum Robinson and Lewis Hammond had their work cut out with the two lively strikers from Ross.
But it was Ledbury who scored a vital second goal when a delicate pass from Harvey Moss picked out Webb who gracefully chipped the ball over the advancing Ross keeper to make it 2-0 to Swifts.
With the game looking comfortable for Ledbury, the visitors broke away and a shot by a Juniors player was turned into the back of the net by a Ledbury player.
The final five minutes of the game Ledbury were on the back foot as Ross pushed forward looking for an equaliser, but Ledbury held on for the ret of the contest to keep their unbeaten record in tact.
