A WORCESTER solicitors firm has taken on a newly qualified solicitor.

SME Solicitors, in Samsome Walk, has announced the qualification of Ellen Conry as a solicitor within its residential property department.

The 28-year-old from Worcester has worked at the firm since 2015 and last week completed her training contract and has chosen residential property as her area of legal specialism.

The Worcester resident said: "I am very pleased that the partners have asked me to stay with SME now that I have qualified and I am very excited about my future here, working as part of our flourishing residential property team.”

SME partner Rhiannon Edwards, who heads up the firm’s residential property department, said: "We are delighted that Ellen has qualified as a solicitor and will be joining the residential property department.

"Of her three years here at SME, Ellen spent her first year as a legal assistant before undertaking a two year training contract and completing the practical skills course.

"She is a great asset to the department and fits in perfectly with the SME philosophy of providing personal and pro-active legal services to our clients.”
