I AM thrilled to share that six businesses from Herefordshire and Worcestershire have been crowned as winners in the West Midlands heat of the Chamber Business Awards 2018.

Now in their 15th year, the Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, recognising the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.

ETL Systems Limited, Kingspan Insulation, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, OLPRO, Phoenix Group and Worcestershire Training Provider Association have all been recognised in the national awards for their outstanding work in their respective industries.

The regional success follows the businesses’ applications for the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2018.

All six companies will now go forward to represent the West Midlands in the national finals. I’d like to take this chance to wish all the winners the best of luck when representing the counties on a national stage!

Further to the fantastic news, I am delighted to reveal that Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has been shortlisted for Chamber of the Year 2018.

I would like to thank the Chamber Network, our Members and Partners, for helping us to achieve such brilliant recognition.

The announcement follows a busy but successful year for us here at the Chamber; having been named within The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-profit Companies to Work for 2018 and recently retaining our Gold ranking in the Investors in People Accreditation.

It has been a privilege to support our 1,500 Member businesses throughout the recent politically turbulent period, and to see the local business community remain resilient in the face of adversity.

The shortlisting means that we will join ETL Systems Limited, Kingspan Insulation, Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, OLPRO, Phoenix Group and Worcestershire Training Provider Association at the Chamber Business Awards evening on Thursday, November 29.
