I WOULD Like to invite local companies to the Chamber’s free Queen’s Awards information evening on Thursday, June 13, at DRPG’s HQ in Hartlebury.

In April, I was delighted to share that five Chamber Members were named within the awards – JMDA (John Martin Design Associates Limited), Prometheus Medical Ltd, Seada Technology Ltd, Spectra Group (UK) Limited and Thorlux Lighting were all recognised for their hard work in their respective fields.

Speaking of their accolade David Ren, Commercial Director of Seada, said: “We are very proud and honoured to be recognised for this prestigious award. We believe this award will be very important to us, as new and existing customers will see this award and gain trust in the company.

"People will be able to acknowledge Seada as a leading brand and this accolade will only help us continue growth internationally as well as within the UK.”

Each year, we look to encourage more of our successful and exceptional businesses to apply and join this prestigious list to celebrate the very best of British businesses.

The Queen’s Awards evening event will welcome the Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft LVO, Lord Digby Jones and two previous Queen’s Awards winners to find out more about the application process.

I am delighted to reveal our previous winners as speakers Chris Vagges, GTech, and Jim Weston, The First Class Pet Company, who will be sharing their experience with delegates, from submission through to receiving the prestigious award – and the positive impact it has had on their companies.

Winners of the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise have identified many benefits of entering, including; competitive advantage, achieving a globally recognised award, external validation by Royal command and an opportunity for local businesses to stand out. The full eligibility criteria for the awards can be found online at gov.uk/queens-awards-for-enterprise.
