THE proposed route for the Ledbury in Bloom judging day, on July 14, has been revealed by the Ledbury in Bloom team.
It is as follows -
9.30am - Meet and greet the judges when they park in Howard Pugh’s car park, Market Street.
9.35am - Having been picked up by the Alvis car, the judges travel to Pascal’s restaurant in Church Street for coffee, where the mayor, Cllr Bob Barnes, can greet the judges.
10.00am - Walk up to the Walled Garden.
10.10am - Travel by the Alvis car up the High Street to the Gloucester Road roundabout and Biddulph way beds.
10.20am - The Alvis will drop the Judges at Ledbury Community Hospital to view the fire station and the gardens at the hospital and nursing home.
10.40am - Walk through to the Talbot and up New Street to view the Top Cross, looking down the length of the High Street.
10.45am - Walk back down the High Street to the Market House.
10.50am -Enjoy the choir of Ledbury Primary School under the Market House.
11.00am - Travel by Alvis to the Ledbury Bowling Green, off Bank Crescent, where a bowling match and sausage tasting will take place.
11.25am - Walk back along the High street to the Council Offices enjoying a cider tasting en route.
11.45 - Noon - Lunch at the Town Council Offices.
